Coal based Granular Activated carbon

Activatd carbon is poprous carbon material. Due to its highly developed porous structure and huge specific surface area, activated carbon has very strong adsorption capacity. Its pores include micropores, mesopores and macropore of diameter >2nm, 20-2000nm, >200nm respectively. There are many oxygen containing functional groups on the surface of activated carbon. Activated carbon can also be impregnated with chemical substance to produceimpregnated activated carbon. Thus, it is not only used as an excellent adsorbent, but also used as a catalyst and catalyst carrier and widely used in industrial production agriculture, environmental protection, nation defence industry, water purification, decolorization of pharmaceutical intermediates and raw material intermadiates, air purification, etc.
